ORIGIN and Anduril plan BLAZE-Lattice counter-drone trials in Latvia

BLUF ORIGIN and Anduril plan to connect the BLAZE interceptor to Lattice and conduct joint testing, demonstrations and validation in Latvia. The work is aimed at a layered sensor-to-effector counter-drone architecture for NATO's eastern flank. This is an integration memorandum, not a procurement award, completed test or fielded capability; schedule, customer and quantities remain undisclosed.

Latvian president signals intent to complete a Barracuda missile acquisition

BLUF Latvia's president publicly signaled an intent to complete an acquisition of Anduril's Barracuda long-range missile family after a company visit. The statement indicates an active procurement path but does not identify the variant, quantity, price, delivery schedule or contract status. It is therefore an acquisition intention—not a completed order—and is separate from the ORIGIN-Anduril counter-drone memorandum.

NORTHCOM plans Falcon Peak's first dense-urban counter-drone demonstration

BLUF NORTHCOM plans to move its next Falcon Peak counter-drone demonstration into a dense urban environment, where collateral-damage limits, buildings and civilian infrastructure complicate sensing and defeat. The command has not disclosed the city or date. This advances the existing exercise series from the current common-C2 field event to a future urban test plan; it is not yet a completed demonstration.

What changed: NORTHCOM has now identified dense urban terrain as the focus of the next Falcon Peak iteration; the date and city remain undisclosed. Previous coverage

Norwegian Army sets a 2027 test center and phased acquisition path for unmanned systems

BLUF The Norwegian Army is turning unmanned systems into a force-design program rather than a one-off purchase. Droneprogram Land will use smaller projects for continuous development and acquisition, with the first thematic call planned in Q4 2026, testing in Q1 or Q2 2027 and a Rena test center targeted for 2027. These are plans and an information request, not awarded systems or achieved readiness.

Ukraine says its forces neutralized more than 350,000 enemy UAVs this year

BLUF Ukraine says its forces have neutralized more than 350,000 enemy UAVs this year, with video records entered in DELTA and verified through Brave1. The ministry breaks out roughly 220,000 fixed-wing drones, 100,000 multirotors and 31,000 Shahed-type aircraft. The totals are a wartime government claim; methodology, category overlap and independent verification remain unresolved.

Drone Dominance names 17 systems for its reusable-bomber qualifier

BLUF Drone Dominance selected 17 companies for an October reusable-bomber qualifier at Camp Grayling. Each entrant must bring at least six complete systems for a vendor-operated stage followed by a military-operated Gauntlet. The program earlier projected about $30 million in initial prototype orders, but an invitation is not an award and neither results nor final order quantities exist yet.
