An early-May pizza

On May 2, I photographed this homemade pizza whole on the kitchen counter. It is sitting on a white cutting board, with the cheese running nearly to a broad golden rim. Thin pink strips that look like ham curl across the top, some with darker edges.

The higher view gives a clearer look across the topping, while the lower angle follows the uneven height of the rim. The matching strips and browned patches connect all the photographs to this one pizza. Later that month, the archive picks up another pizza night with Bluey on the television.
