Building a cheese pizza, layer by layer

The red-sauce layer.

This set stops before the finished-pizza photograph. Instead, it follows the layers: a puffy base with red sauce, a covering of grated cheese, and then a glossy finish around the rim. The pizza stays on its round screen through all three views.

Seeing the stages side by side makes the assembly easy to follow. The cheese leaves an outer border, and the final view shows small flecks along that border. It is a useful little record of the work before dinner, even though the finished bake is not in this group.
