Homemade pizza night, with Canadian bacon, pepperoni and mozzarella. I introduced it by saying it tasted better than it looked. At least one friend disagreed with the second part and thought it looked great.

The conversation quickly turned to what should go with pizza. Someone proposed margaritas; I replied that we were having pizza and soju lemonade and invited them over. It is a small detail, but it gives this early pizza photo its setting: dinner at home, with friends joining the conversation from elsewhere.

The pizza itself fills a round metal tray, with a substantial rim and a browned cheese topping. The named ingredients are preserved in the caption, but the dough recipe and baking method weren't recorded in the comments available to review.
