It's a PIZZABURGER!

A pizza-dough-wrapped burger cut into wedges, with melted cheese and red sauce visible inside.

It's a pizza, it's a burger. It's a PIZZABURGER! I cut this one into wedges so the photograph could show what was inside: a burger enclosed in pizza dough, with melted cheese stretching between the pieces.

When someone asked for the recipe, I filled in what the picture couldn't: bacon, pepperoni, pizza sauce and mozzarella around the burger, all wrapped in the dough, with more cheese on top. This was a homemade experiment with the pizza ingredients becoming both the filling and the outside of the sandwich.

A follow-up question recovered the cooking detail, too. I used a pizza stone and baked it for about 30 minutes. My original verdict was that it was delicious, and I came back in the comments to call it awesome. The cut-open photograph is the best explanation of why I gave it its own name.
