My greatest pizza ever?

Did I ever show you my greatest pizza ever? In September 2020, I shared these pictures of an earlier bake. Mariana clarified in the comments that it had been a long time before; September 18 is the post date, rather than a confirmed date for making this pizza.

The photos tell a short preparation story. The dough begins in a round pan with a pronounced raised edge and red sauce across the center. In the finished pictures, the rim has become a tall brown ring around the melted cheese. Another photograph catches the crust being brushed at the table, with the pizza resting on a cooling rack.

A friend asked whether a pizza oven was involved. My answer was that I didn't have one yet, followed by some hopeful joking about getting one and throwing a pizza party. The enthusiasm in the caption came before that equipment upgrade. This was already a pizza worth looking back on.
