Pizza and a thumbs-up

The first May 9 photo is all about dinner: a pizza cut into wedges, with browned cheese and plenty of small pink pieces that look like ham. The second pulls the camera down to counter level and brings a thumbs-up into the frame.

The two pictures belong together. One records the pizza clearly, while the other gives it the setting of a meal at home. The crust has small blisters and a darker edge where cheese reaches the border, with slices already separated for serving.
