Pizza March Madness

Several pizzas in open boxes lined up for the taste test, with slices removed.
The taste-test lineup, with the first slices already gone.

Friday dinner became Pizza March Madness: Domino’s, Jet’s and Troni’s lined up for a taste test. The open boxes stretched along the counter, with slices already missing by the time I took the pictures. My order was Troni’s first, then Jet’s. Adam still loved Domino’s, so there was no unanimous family winner.

I joked that his loyalty went back to Grand Forks, where Domino’s was the pizza we could get delivered on base. For my unofficial bracket, though, Domino’s was out. The comments kept the debate going: Jet’s had a supporter, and friends suggested other places for future pizza adventures.

The comparison was part dinner and part family argument over a favorite food. These were the pizzas in front of us that Friday, and those were our preferences; I didn't record numerical scores or a shop-by-shop breakdown of dough, sauce or baking method.
