This pizza is huge!

This pizza is huge! That was the whole caption, and the photograph did the measuring for me: an open box almost filled by the pizza, with a child sitting behind it giving the scene its scale. I didn't record a diameter, but it was clearly the size that made me reach for the camera.

When someone asked where it came from, I answered Milano’s. Asked how it tasted, I called it the best around, in my opinion. That second answer matters as much as the first photo: this was a pizza I liked, as well as one worth photographing for its size.

The pineapple was hard to miss, and it promptly became a subject in the comments. A huge takeaway pizza, a very visible topping choice, and a lively response from friends—that is the little pizza adventure preserved here.
