AIR BASE AIR DEFENSE / DAILY BRIEFING

ABAD Daily NewsAcquisition, military and joint-force developments.

09OCT 202621 STORIES

Today’s update leads with nation-scale and air-base counter-drone command systems, then follows missile-defense production, Army battlefield AI, joint-force organization, autonomous mine countermeasures and industrial resilience. The noon additions cover an Australian hyperspectral-sensor acquisition, Army open-system interoperability, a small U.S. counter-UAS integration order, a new tube-launched reconnaissance drone, NATO’s planned annual deterrence exercise and an Army electromagnetic-warfare integration demonstration. The evening append adds South Korea’s first hypersonic glide-vehicle flight test, Dutch helicopter counter-drone firing, U.S. joint drone-data integration, Japanese air-defense test-support solicitations and an Australian heavy uncrewed logistics demonstrator. Contract ceilings, conditional awards, tests, solicitations, product launches, exercises, older event dates and planned trials remain distinct; X-BAT is updated only because new government funding and a separate Greek industrial agreement materially change its October 4 record.
